One of the pioneers in the Cuyo region’s viticulture industry was Fioravante Sottano. Arriving from Italy in 1890, he settled in Mendoza.   Nowadays, the winery is owned by the fourth generation of his family and, since 1998, his grandson Ricardo Sottano and his great-grandsons Diego, Pablo, and Mauricio have been carrying on his legacy in order to produce premium wines.  The winery is situated in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, in Perdriel, in the Luj├ín de Cuyo.  It consists of over two hectares of land, including 15,000 square meters of landscaping using only native species.

Deep red colour, with bright purple hues.  Aromas of ripe red fruits such as plums and raspberries with notes of delicate chocolate and vanilla provided by the oak.  Good medium to full style with lots of plummy fruit on the palate with slight coffee notes.  Good structure and velvety tannins give it an elegant finish.

Food pairing:  Chilli con carne
